DESIGN DETAILS

-The hood is extra deep and structured, so it stays on securely and can fit all your hair, even if it’s in a ponytail. Pull strings allow the hood to be closed for added privacy.
-Extra wide/deep pockets
-Designed with a raglan sleeve cut (instead of a set-in sleeve) for a bit more wiggle room across the shoulders so its not too wide for those with narrower shoulder widths.
-two-way zipper; the dress can be opened from the top or from the bottom. Equipped with extra large pockets to hold daily essentials.
-Hidden cinching feature in back of dress at waistline. pull on on one string near the toggle while also pushing down on the toggle button to tighten. Repeat on other side. Push buttons again to release the string back to its original location.
-The sleeves are billowy and taper into a cuff with a thumbhole option. If you prefer to wear the cuff folded over without using the thumbhole, it should be folded before putting your hand through (the fabric does not have enough stretch to fold it back once it’s on).
-Finished in an extra long length for maximum coverage.
-This style is maternity-friendly, nursing-friendly, and adaptive fashion-friendly for versatile wear.

FIT

Based on multiple customer try-ons before release, we suggest sticking to your true size on the size chart for the intended oversized look.

If you have broader shoulders or a fuller chest, you may prefer to size up one for extra comfort, as the raglan sleeve is cut close to the shoulder and can feel more like a fitted sweatshirt than an oversized one.

If your measurements overlap on the size chart, we recommend going up one size for additional wiggle room. For example if you are a size 6 all across you can fit in the XS/S, but if your chest/shoulders are broader, opt for the S/M for more space in that area.

The fabric has stretch, but it is not meant to hug the curves tightly — the intended fit is more relaxed.

Please note: as you size up, the hoodie dress will also become slightly longer in length.

Maternity fit: We suggest going up one size postpartum for comfort. If you choose to wear it during pregnancy, go up two sizes to accommodate a growing belly.

LENGTH/ WIDTH GUIDE: Approx lengths for the EXTRA HOODIE dress are taken from uppermost part of shoulder (HPS) to the bottom hem. Double the width for complete circumference around the body on chest and hips. All measurements are taken when dress is on a flat surface.

GUIDE TO FINDING YOUR MEASUREMENTS:
LENGTHS- Place a measuring tape at the center point of one of your shoulders where your neck curve meets your shoulder (Also known as HPS- High Point Shoulder). The '0' (zero) on the tape should be your starting point. Drop the tape and let it hang. It helps to look in a full length mirror to determine the length that suits you (If you prefer above, on or below the knee). For reference, average lengths (depending on your height) fall between 37-41inches on size XS. Since everyone's torso/leg lengths are different (even if two people are the same height), coverage length can never be exact. For all styles, we list the approximate lengths of our dresses measured from HPS. Please check the lengths to see if they work for you.

WIDTHS: Chest- Position the '0' (zero) of the measuring tape underneath one armpit aligning it      as much as possible with the center part of your bust. Wrap around the circumference of your chest area until the tape matches point zero from the backside. Keep in mind that knits (stretchy styles) can accommodate widths that are broader than the listed dimensions due to fabric forgiveness, while wovens (fabric with minimal or no stretch) will only 'give' to a certain point. Usually, patterns are adjusted to work for sizing when the fabric is woven.
 Hips- Repeat steps for measuring Chest, but start at the widest point of hips.
Arms- Repeat steps for measuring Chest, but start under armpit and measure around biceps if the style has a defined sleeve opening at the point where the shoulder meets the arm (so you can determine if the sleeve width will work for your upper arm).
Sleeve length is measured based on style: if there is an armhole where it meets shoulder, it is measured from that point. If the style is a caftan, or drop sleeve (where there is no defined shoulder opening) it is measured in length from HPS to sleeve hem.

This fabric is a light weight sweatshirt fabric with a brushed interior. Please note minimal pilling is possible on the inside of the garment due to friction against the wearer's personal garments/shoes.
