Please read the fit guide (below this chart) for best fit info:
1- The merlot color way runs a touch snugger up top than the Eclipse print (the fabrics are slightly different, but both woven and beautiful!). If you are between sizes on the chart, you might find that sizing up is a better fit.
2- If size is prefaced by 'Small' you are narrower in your shoulders, smaller chest size. If you are broader in those areas, you would be more comfortable sizing up if you overlap on the chart below.

-The #linearRHYTHM is a flowy and FLIPPABLE (!!!) maxi length frock. You can choose to wear this frock with the zipper in the front (it's a great nursing friendly option)
For the 'V' shape at the front neckline, unzip about an inch or so (based on your personal modest preference) and tuck the corners inwards. The flip side features a smooth finish of the curved waist seam.
-Discreet extra-long center zipper(on the shirred side) for step-in dressing, nursing access, maternity comfort, and a convertible V-neckline option
-Matching belt included for cinching at the waist (try above the belly for maternity styling).
This belt must be returned with the dress to receive a refund if you decide to make a return.
-Hidden snap pockets set into the curved, shirred seam for a clean finish.

Fit & Sizing

The fit on the RHYTHM dress is based on your upper body. Consider the size of your shoulders and chest area when choosing a size from the chart below. As the dress is flowy from slightly below the chest down, there is some wiggle room for the lower body area. Most customers who tried this style on before release found the sizing true to the size chart.
However, if you are much broader on top in your shoulders or have a fuller chest, we suggest sizing up. If you fall between two sizes on the chart, sizing up will give you more width in the waist/hips/shoulder and chest area too. It will also mean the dress is slightly longer in length.
For most, the fit remains consistent with the chart below. If the size number is prefaced by 'SMALL', then you are smaller at the top part (chest/shoulders) of your body. Please keep in mind that the XS/S will be roomier on a petite size 0/2.

If you are choosing between the XS/S and S/M, opt for the XS/S if you are more petite (will still work for regular height if you fall into this option on the size chart), and choose the S/M if you are taller or prefer a slightly more flowy fit. These two sizes overlap on the chart, so both can work depending on your height and styling preference.

TLDR: Don't overthink this too much. Stick to the size chart unless you are much wider in your upper body or hips. Since the style is flowy, it will have a more bohemian feel if you size up (and you can always cinch this style with the matching belt).

LENGTH/ WIDTH GUIDE: Approx lengths for the RHYTHM dress are taken from uppermost part of shoulder (HPS) to the bottom hem. Double the width for complete circumference around the body on chest and hips. All measurements are taken when dress is on a flat surface.

GUIDE TO FINDING YOUR MEASUREMENTS:
LENGTHS- Place a measuring tape at the center point of one of your shoulders where your neck curve meets your shoulder (Also known as HPS- High Point Shoulder). The '0' (zero) on the tape should be your starting point. Drop the tape and let it hang. It helps to look in a full length mirror to determine the length that suits you (If you prefer above, on or below the knee). For reference, average lengths (depending on your height) fall between 37-41inches on size XS. Since everyone's torso/leg lengths are different (even if two people are the same height), coverage length can never be exact. For all styles, we list the approximate lengths of our dresses measured from HPS. Please check the lengths to see if they work for you.

WIDTHS: Chest- Position the '0' (zero) of the measuring tape underneath one armpit aligning it      as much as possible with the center part of your bust. Wrap around the circumference of your chest area until the tape matches point zero from the backside. Keep in mind that knits (stretchy styles) can accommodate widths that are broader than the listed dimensions due to fabric forgiveness, while wovens (fabric with minimal or no stretch) will only 'give' to a certain point. Usually, patterns are adjusted to work for sizing when the fabric is woven.
 Hips- Repeat steps for measuring Chest, but start at the widest point of hips.
Arms- Repeat steps for measuring Chest, but start under armpit and measure around biceps if the style has a defined sleeve opening at the point where the shoulder meets the arm (so you can determine if the sleeve width will work for your upper arm).
Sleeve length is measured based on style: if there is an armhole where it meets shoulder, it is measured from that point. If the style is a caftan, or drop sleeve (where there is no defined shoulder opening) it is measured in length from HPS to sleeve hem.
